How does the program work?

The program allows you to make money by referring customers to our www.checksforless.com website. You do this by placing links on your site or by distributing our free catalogs with your affiliate code pre-printed on the order form. Every time you refer a customer to us and that customer makes a qualified purchase or reorder( Accountant & Bookkeepers Only), you earn a 15% commission* ( Accountant & Bookkeepers Only). Every quarter you earn $25 or more in commissions, we send you a check for the amount you earned. It's that easy! If in any quarter you earn less than $25, your total balance will be carried over to the next quarter and a check will be sent once your commissions reach $25 or more at the end of a pay period. *5% Commission on new orders only is available for consulting businesses.

Who processes orders and handles customer service?

We do all of that for the customers you refer to our site or to our catalog and order form. All you have to do is place links on your site and/or distribute our free marketing materials with your pre-coded order form. Our service specialists will do the rest.

Can a website outside the United States be an affiliate?

Yes. However, our online store is for U.S. customers only. We accept payment in U.S. dollars only and will only ship orders in the U.S. In addition, all of your commission payment checks will be in U.S. dollars.

What are my responsibilities as an affiliate?

The only thing you are responsible for is referring customers to us through affiliate links created by using the ad generator on our web site to create and place links on your site or by using an order form. We handle everything else. What are your responsibilities? We will provide you with the tools and support you need to maximize sales through your site. We also handle orders, shipping and billing for all customers you refer to us.

How do I sign up?

First, you must read and accept our Affiliate Agreement. Then, complete and submit our online application form. After you submit your application, we will send you a confirmation pending application approval. Once your application is reviewed, Checksforless.com® will send you a confirmation e-mail with your username and password. Your Checksforless.com® Affiliate Advantage account will be active upon receipt of confirmation.

I don't have a website yet. Can I still apply?

Yes, you may apply. However, you will not be able to participate in the internet portion of our program until your website is live. Until then, you may use our catalogs and marketing materials to service your clients through Checksforless.com®.

Why am I getting charged sales tax?

We are required by law to charge sales tax for orders with a delivery address in which we have established either a physical or an economic presence. The current list of States which require us to collect Sales Tax is:

How do I know how much commission I've earned?

How often do I get paid?

Checksforless.com® pays affiliates on a quarterly basis. If your commission for the quarter is less than $25, the total amount you earned will be carried over to the next quarter. Once your earned commission meets or exceeds $25, a check will be sent to you. For more detailed information on payment, please refer to the Checksforless.com® Business Terms and Conditions. Please note that Checksforless.com® has discretion to cancel any affiliate account that does not earn the $25 total commission yearly.

Do I earn commissions on my own purchases?

Yes. When you buy products from us through your website, you earn the same commission on your purchase that you would from a visitor purchase.

What about product returns?

If a user returns a product for a refund, or if credit card charges are reversed due to a dispute or credit card fraud, the amount of the return or order cancellation will be deducted from your total commission amount prior to sending the quarterly check. Tax Forms

Tax for item returns must be initiated within 90 days from delivery. Items ordered must be returned in their original shrink-wrapped condition, and a prorated credit will be issued for items not returned in the original quantity ordered. There will be a 25% restocking fee for all tax form item returns. You are responsible for the return shipping at your own cost.

How will you know that the orders came from me?

All links from your site to our site contain a unique affiliate code identifier. Every time a user comes to us via your site, we know to credit you when a purchase is made. This is only possible, though, when you create all of your links with the ad generator on the Affiliate Resource Center. Also, when you order using an order form including your code, you will get credit. All orders that include products we have not printed for a customer need to be presented with an affiliate code to ensure credit for the sale.

Where should I place the banner ads on my site?

You should place links where they are easy for site visitors to find. Consider placing links on your home page, navigation bar, and any other high-traffic areas. If you place the links in an easily accessible location on your site, visitors will be more likely to see and click on the link.

Can I use your content on my site?

You cannot post any other information besides what is provided from this website or without the expressed written permission of Checksforless.com®. Only links that are provided via Create Banners ads on this website may be utilized on your site.

Why does my banner ad show as an unauthorized link when I entered my website address correctly?

When you fill out our application it is important that you spell your website address exactly. Our system will compare the website address you entered with the website address that our banner ad images are placed on. If they do not match, then the unauthorized link image will apear. This is done to ensure that the proper accounts are given credit for commissions, as well as ensuring that our banners are not placed on websites of objectionable content. While in nearly all cases this is sufficient to place banner ads, in some special cases your website address may be an alias to a root website address and the banner images may still not display correctly. If you feel the information you provided is correct and your banners still do not work, contact our customer service department at 800.245.5775.

How will you calculate my shipping charges?

We calculate your shipping charges based on the order total. $0.01 - $25.00 = $8.00 $25.01 - $75.00 = $11.00 $75.01 - $125.00 = $15.00 $125.01 - $185.00 = $19.00 $185.01 - $250.00 = $23.00 Over $250.00 = UPS Ground Rate. We offer in-plant rushes and shipping rushes to expedite your order. It is not always beneficial to select both of these options. Why did my items arrive on different days?

Checks and accessories are sometimes packaged separately, making it possible for your items to arrive on different days. All items of your complete order should arrive within a few days of each other. If they do not, please contact us.
